Sales Tax
Sales Tax is applied to merchandise shipped within the states of MI, PA, TN and VA.


Shipping International
When shipping internationally, additional charges will apply and a Customer Service Representative will contact you with a quote for the freight amount. Please know that the quote provided is for freight only and does not include any applicable duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient.

Duties and taxes are paid for in either of the following methods:

1. Once the items reach the destination country, you will be contacted with an exact amount due and will need to make arrangements for payment prior to delivery.

2. You will be billed for them at a later date, in which case you will be contacted by one of our Customer Service Representatives to inform you of the final amount and we will charge the credit card provided on the original order.

Expedited delivery is not available for international shipments. 


Shipping within the Contiguous U.S.
We will ship all in-stock, completed orders within one business day after receipt of your request. All orders, unless otherwise specified, are shipped via UPS Ground from our facility in Taylor, MI. We must have a physical street address for shipping, unfortunately PO Boxes are non-deliverable.


Expedited Delivery
When requesting expedited delivery (Next Day or 2nd Day Air), we must receive your request prior to 2:00 p.m. EST to ensure that your merchandise will ship the same day. Additional charges do apply, please reference freight tables provided (above) for those amounts. Some merchandise is not eligible for Expedited Shipping, these items are identified on the VW DriverGear eStore.

Expedited delivery is not available for international shipments. 


Product Availability
Items shown on the website are subject to availability at the time of order.


Order Acknowledgements
When an order is submitted online, an email confirmation is immediately sent to you at the email address provided. 


Lead Time
All in stock merchandise orders that are complete will ship within one business day of receipt. For orders that have the occasional back-ordered item, we will ship a partial order for you within 2 business days, unless otherwise specified.


Return/Exchange Policy
Our mission is to provide VW DriverGear enthusiasts with the finest quality merchandise and the highest level of customer service in the industry.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will provide a refund or exchange of the item(s) within 30 days* of purchase. Contact our Customer Care Department at (800) 476-2975 or email us at Drivergear@vw.com. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have and work with you to handle your exchange or return. We can be reached, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm EST, excluding holidays.

Prior to returning your merchandise please contact a Customer Care Representative to obtain a Return Material Authorization number or RMA. When you call, please have your original packing slip ready for reference. Our representatives will process your request and provide you with an RMA. In order to expedite the process we recommend that a copy of your original order is placed in the box and your RMA number is posted on the outside of your package in the ship to information area. If you wish to exchange your item, please notify the rep at this time.

You must contact us on credits or exchanges within 30 days of receipt of your merchandise. All claims for damages due to transit must be made with the carrier when you receive the merchandise. All original packaging and/or boxes that your merchandise was shipped in must be retained for this claim.

No returns will be allowed on discontinued items, specially marked items, Limited Edition Merchandise, free promos, seasonal sales, custom or personalized goods. All returns must be in their original packaging and in like new condition to receive a full credit.

Damaged/ Defective/ Mis-shipped
Damaged/defective or mis-shipped merchandise must be claimed to VW DriverGear within 10 days of receipt of the order. Please contact VW DriverGear with these errors and we will assist you in a quick resolution.

Even Exchanges/ Credits
If you wish to exchange your item, notify the Customer Care representative when you call in for a RMA. To expedite your exchange we will place a new order for the exchanged item ASAP. When your replacement item ships out, you will be charged for that item and then credited back for your return once your exchange is received and processed. All customer return shipments to VW DriverGear will be at the cost of the customer. If the customer wishes to exchange merchandise on the order, VW DriverGear will ship out the new order at $0 shipping cost. We recommend all returns to VW DriverGear be shipped using UPS or USPS. VW DriverGear is not responsible for returned merchandise lost in transit to VW DriverGear.

*VW DriverGear has the right to refuse any incomplete or unauthorized return. A 10% restocking fee may also apply to goods or orders that fall outside our required information (RMA, incomplete) and/or time lines.
